Guests will often drop off flowers at our home before Shabbos. But instead of simply putting them in a vase on the table I have tried to find different ways of doing creative things with them.
One of the favourite things I like to do is to cut them and put them in glass bottles and place them in the middle of the table. A friend of ours who joined us at the Seder brought the bottles in these pictures from Mr Price Home which I love for their vintage look.
All you need to do is take some roses or tulips, cut them to size, place them in the bottles, which should be positioned in a row in the middle of the table and you have a fabulous centerpiece!
What I also like about these bottles is that they are the perfect height so that people are able to have a conversation from across the table without the decor getting in the way.
If you already have decor for the dining room table these can also be used elsewhere in the home for example in a guest room or entrance table for the home or bathroom.
it is very special coming home from shul to a beautifully set Shabbos table and this is one easy way of helping make your Shabbos table look that much more glamorous!
